I’m a small business owner, just like you (or soon). I began my business with no access to capital and no understanding of how to run a business. I just knew I wanted to make more money than I could get from my 9-5. It never sat right with me that my livelihood was subject to my boss, financially speaking. It took me years to learn what looked so effortless for others, and I spent hundreds of thousands more than I would have had to, had I just known how.
